Something most men already do, but not by choice

Tiger Woods is eliminating distractions ahead of the 2024 Masters.
"He's focused," one of his friends told Steve Helling of the New York Post. "He's working really hard in the gym. He's eating right. He's even eliminated sex. He does that now when he’s preparing: no sex until the tournament is over. He doesn’t want anything to take away his focus.”
A recovering sex addict who sought treatment for his issues more than a decade ago after leaving a string of Perkins waitresses in his wake, Woods is single after ending his six-year relationship with girlfriend Erica Herman — a former waitress at his restaurant in Florida — and is not dating anyone “to speak of,” a friend of the 48-year-old golfer told The Post. As he prepares to hit the links in Augusta, that should work to his advantage.

Can Justin Thomas Win With a New Caddie?
|
|
Justin Thomas announced that he and caddie Jim “Bones” Mackay have parted ways ahead of the Masters.
Thomas, 30, took to social media to explain the decision:
“While incredibly difficult for me to say, Bones and I have parted ways. I’m going to be forever thankful for Jim joining me on the bag in 2021. The things we’ve been able to accomplish together—the PGA Championship in 2022, the Presidents Cup, the Ryder Cups were all unforgettable experiences. His wisdom on and off the course has been a blessing during a tough stretch of my career and he was there every step of the way."
“I know there are great things coming for both of us down the road. I wish him the best of luck and will always count him and his family amongst my friends.”
Has a player ever won a tournament with a new caddie?
One notable example is Rory McIlroy, who won the Deutsche Bank Championship in 2016, just a week after parting ways with his longtime caddie, J.P. Fitzgerald. This victory came as a surprise to many, as the timing of the caddie change raised eyebrows in the golfing world.
However, McIlroy's win demonstrated his resilience and ability to adapt to new circumstances under pressure. Can JT pull out a win at golfs most prestigious tournament?

Due to his world No.1 status and impressive recent form, Scottie Scheffler is the hot favorite at the Masters this week.
However, there may be more on Scheffler's mind than winning the coveted green jacket, as could his compatriot and close friend Sam Burns. The pair, and their respective wives, are set to become parents for the first time in the coming weeks, with Scheffler's wife Meredith due in three weeks, and Burns' wife Caroline due in nine days.
In the Golf Channel's Monday broadcast from Augusta, the two golfers and best friends, both 27, vowed to leave at any time if their respective wives went into labor.
Scheffler was asked about the prospect of becoming a dad, in which he replied: “It’s going to be pretty wild. I don’t think it’s hit either of us quite yet but it’s an exciting time for us as a family."
"It’s been a pretty exciting last seven months or so and we’re looking forward to hopefully getting the baby out of there nice and healthy and with a healthy momma, and then we’ll go from there."
