Rory's Hall Pass Has Come to an End
"Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realized that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning."
McIlroy filed for divorce May 13, according to Palm Beach County court records. The same court database showed Tuesday that McIlroy's attorney filed a notice for voluntary dismissal of the petition for dissolution of marriage. The case is now closed which means that the rumors of Amanda Balionis can be put to rest.
In the wake of the announcement, everyone took to social media to spare a moment for reporter Amanda Balionis. Rumors connected Rory and Amanda, but there was no confirmation from either side about a romance.

 Tiger Woods, who last made the cut at the U.S. Open in 2019, said Tuesday that he likes that this week's tournament will be played in Florida-like heat, which will help his surgically repaired back and right leg.
The weather forecasts call for temperatures in the upper 80s to mid-90s later this week with little chance of precipitation, which should help Woods stay loose. "It's like home," said Woods, who lives in Jupiter, Florida. "Hot and humid is what we deal with every single day at home in Florida, so that's nothing new.
The 15-time major champion will make his third start in a U.S. Open played at Pinehurst No. 2. He tied for third in 1999 and finished second in 2005. He missed the most recent U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 while recovering from back surgery in 2019. Tiger is currently +40,000 to win and +210 to make the cut.

The 2025 Masters Lottery has begun:
Deadline is June 20th
 While the next Masters Tournament isn't until April 7-13th. The lottery to win tickets is now open through June 20th. You can sign up for one day or all 7, but you will only be selected for 1 day.
For practice rounds, each person can request 1 - 4 tickets and 1 - 2 for Thursday-Sunday.
Tickets are $100 for practice days and $140 for each tournament day.

Scottie Scheffler proved heâs got ice in his veins, clinching his fifth PGA Tour title of the year at the Memorial Tournament.
